Enhanced Drilling and AXAZ launch summer internship collaboration

Enhanced Drilling and AXAZ launch summer internship collaboration
2:32

We are pleased to welcome this year’s summer interns through a collaborative internship program with AXAZ, bringing together students and professionals across disciplines to solve real industry challenges.

Following initial planning sessions earlier this year, the program officially kicked off this week with a joint session involving participants from both organizations.

Bridging technology and practical experience

The internship is designed to give students hands-on experience in a real business environment, while contributing to ongoing improvement initiatives within Enhanced Drilling.

As part of the program, interns are working on a case focused on improving internal reporting processes. This is an area identified as both operationally important and well-suited for fresh perspectives and digital innovation.

By working closely with teams across the organization, including operations, IT, project management, and commercial functions, the interns gain valuable insight into how advanced offshore drilling solutions are developed and delivered.

A collaborative approach

The partnership with AXAZ reflects a shared commitment to competence development, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Consultants from AXAZ are supporting the program alongside Enhanced Drilling personnel, contributing expertise within data, analytics, and digital solutions.

Together, the two companies provide a structured environment where interns can combine theoretical knowledge with practical application, while also delivering value to ongoing projects.

Creating value for the future

For Enhanced Drilling, the internship program is not only an investment in future talent, but also an opportunity to challenge existing ways of working.

By engaging students in real problem-solving, the company benefits from new ideas, different perspectives, and increased focus on digitalization and efficiency improvements.

At the same time, the interns gain first-hand experience with a technology-driven offshore drilling company, working with solutions designed to improve performance, reduce costs, and support more sustainable operations.

Looking ahead

Throughout the summer, the interns will continue developing their solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and presenting their findings.

We look forward to following their progress and to continuing the strong collaboration with AXAZ, building a foundation for future partnerships and talent development.
